I think 2012 will be known as the year of dating... there was a lot of that happening.
I started the year off dating a guy which went till about March then started dating another guy in May till end of November... with many other dates dispersed throughout that. I think saying it was complicated is a understatement. And now that I am single I am not sure I am looking forward to that all again... but what can you do!?!

I am ready for what 2013 will bring!

What's been going on?!?!

Yeah… I know I kinda suck at this blogging thing huh?
…yeah… I think it all happened when I started dating (a lot) and I didn’t really want to post about that… besides the fact that that changed everyday… I have this weird idea that when I talk about it out on a form like this then it jinxes it… I know, I know….stupid… but hey, it’s only proven true so far haha… I’ll work on sharing more though right…

So what has been happening???
(hmmm… these may not be in chronological order… so please forgive me…)
I went to Ohio in July to visit Randon, Callie & Kenlee… it was so fun! We went to Cedar Point twice (I will have to do a separate post on that…loved those roller coasters) and the beach a couple times and Kalahari (indoor water park)…it was so fun I loved every minute of it… can’t wait for them to come in December!
Jessica and I went and saw Kelly Clarkson in August… LOVED it… lesson learned though: I do NOT like the light rail… it has been noted for future instances to just drive ourselves…
I moved out in September with my friend Rachel… she has a super cute house and I LOVE it… I am grateful that I can still go to the same singles ward too… bonus!
Jessica and I then went to see JUSTIN BEIBER!!! Pretty awesome! I feel like we had tickets to him for forever… it was a great show… Carly Rae Jepsen opened and I love her CD… it was an entertaining show one we will never forget (poor guy was sick and barfed on stage, twice…but he kept going)… so many screaming girls!
Work is great… I love it! Starting a new project here soon so I am excited for that… I also got promoted a couple months back as well… oh and Saturday is my 6 year anniversary with the bank…
Started going to the new Singles Ward in June … and I love it! So many new people and I love my Bishop!
Because of that change of being in a new ward/stake I was able to meet with my new Bishop/Stake President and I went through the temple in August and received my own endowments… that was such a great experience and I am so grateful for the family and friends I had there to support me.
And currently I am dating a really great guy… keep your fingers crossed for me!
So that’s what’s going on… I am going to try and be better at posting…
(and I am sure I have forgotten a few things in there that happened)

I {heart} DownEast Basics!

ahem... My name is Krissa and I have an addiction... to DownEast Basics...
Seriously... I am here multiple times a month sometimes even a couple days in a row.
So I was ecstatic to be invited to a "Ladies Night" at the store in the Chandler Mall...
it was moved upstairs by Nordstrom and I LOVE that store...
I know they said it had all the same stuff as the one closer to me...but it seemed like more...
Plus everyone was so helpful!
I LOVE everything they have!
This was an outfit I got last weekend.
(lets not mention I got the same skirt in black...clearance people, don't judge!)

(me and Shaylen)
The best part of the ladies night was being able to shop and visit with my favorite people
(me and Kaylee)

I had so much fun and I have my eye on another skirt... surprise surprise... I know!
If you haven't been to this store...GO... at least checkout their website!

(I think Jessica and my Mom both made out with some smokin deals that night!)

Huntington Beach!

The beach is one of my absolute places EVER!!! It is my happy place!
I was stoked to plan this trip with these girls (Kaylee, Tashina & Kayla)
We had the best time!
We spent SO MUCH time at the beach. It was the best!!!! We arrived late Friday night, I think we got a party hotel. Lots of crazy drunk people! We were invited to a party before we even got checked in.
Saturday we were at the beach for about 6.5 hours. Yes, we all got burnt. But not too bad! Kayla got it the worst. We all got in the water a couple times. It was freezing!!! Sunday we went back and Kaylee wanted to see the sunset, so we ended up staying for about 8 hours. We ate at Ruby's at the Pier there at Huntington Beach. So many more people this time but it finally thinned out and thats when our party started. Blasted some music, sang, danced, built a pretty awesome sand castle, played with sand crabs, took tons of pictures, did some creepin on people, made some videos and finally watched the sunset.
It was the BEST day ever!!! I think people thought we were a little crazy! oh well!
(they are probably right...haha... shhh just keep that between us)
The plan was to go back Monday before heading home... but uh... all the parking lots were full... so we just headed home early... It was so much fun!
(Already planning another beach trip to San Diego in June)

Ready for some pictures......
Kaylee, Kayla and I. Can you tell we are excited!!!!
Tashina and I. We be rocking those shades!!!! You know it!
Gotta have a foot picture right! Bright pink toes for the beach!
This trip had a lot of first. Including first sandcastle on the beach.
Most of this is Kaylee's creation.
But it was a group effort!
Me at sunset. Why was it so much nicer and warmer the later it got!
We went to Ruby's at the pier. That place is delicious. Tradition to go!!!!
This is the best picture! Loved going with these girls. Laughed so much!

Watching he sunset... this was seriously the best day ever. First time to ever see the sunset at the beach.
So glad Kaylee was adamant about staying. It was so fun!
Kaylee and I, day one at the beach!
Olive Garden for dinner... so good... didn't realize how hungry we were. So red after one day!

Who wants to go back?!?!?

Weekend Update

This weekend was crazy!
My parents went out of town Thursday so my house was party central! (just kidding Mom if you are reading this)

Friday... didn't start so great, cracked a tooth at work and then got a speeding ticket on my way home. But that was the worst of the day so that is good I guess. Was able to finally spend some time visiting with Jessica, seems our Fridays have been busy lately. Hung out with a friend and then had a pretty crazy game night. Played some MOW, Swedish Twister (best game ever), Do you love your neighbor?, and some others... I don't think we got to bed till 4am, which by that point I was up for 24 hours, I didn't  get a nap that day. But it was well worth it.

Saturday... Spent time cleaning which is best done while dancing and singing to music. Then some girl friends came over and we did our girl stuff; talking, eating, laughing, singing, eating, laughing... you know the drill. We watched the last 4 episodes of The New Girl... which I find absolutely hilarious... (yes I did try and look up the rules to True American, still doesn't make sense)...But I got to bed a little earlier... 3am!

Sunday... well I had a nice headache that kept me from church. Watched a few movies and got better for a Fireside. After which we went to a game night that was a COMPLETE dud... so we played Ninja in the street and walked around the neighborhood... it was a very very random evening... but we had a good time nonetheless...

I think all that partying caught up with me... woke up with another headache and was just way too tired.... so I stayed home... oops...

oh yeah... so I have been growing out my bangs and they are finally long enough to wear down, pulled to the side instead of pinned back all the time. YAY!

(Thanks Jessica for hinting that I start Weekend Updates again)

Utah Conference Trip

I was invited to go up to conference with my good friend Tashina and her family. We had so much fun. We drove up Friday the whole day. There was a episode of car sickness which may have been more of a stomach bug 10 minutes before we arrived at the hotel. I won't eat gummy bears for a long while now. We listened to tons of music, I took a turn driving with Tashina as my navigator. I must say she sure did do a great job keeping alert, letting me know speed limit changes, answering text messages, and keeping the music going so I didn't fall asleep.

We spent Saturday in Downtown Salt Lake at the new City Creek Mall which was super neat. We were so tired that when we went to Deseret Book during there ladies night we chilled in the children's book section and sat in those little chairs that we probably should have let the kids use. We waited at the temple while they guys were in the Priesthood session. Pretty sure I could lay on the temple lawn all day, such a nice peaceful feeling!
We went to the Sunday morning session of Conference. It was neat to be in the presence of the Prophet and Apostles. It was a really neat experience. We drove halfway to Kanab right after the session.
Monday we went to the Grand Canyon. It was super neat. I have not been there since I was a little kid. It was super neat. We hiked down a little trail too, I did get cool pictures but for whatever reason my phone deleted them... kinda really sad about it. It was so fun. I hope someday to go back and do Havasupai.

It was a really fun quick trip! So grateful for the opportunity to go!

Callie and Kenlee's visit!

Callie and Kenlee came for a few weeks from Ohio.
I got a whole week off of work. It was so much fun!
I loved cuddling and playing with my beautiful niece.
I could just watch that pretty girl for hours.
And I got to spend loads of time with Callie.
We chatted, sang at the top of our lungs, cried, ate junk food, got a pedicure,
went to the movies, watched tons of chick flicks, visited Krazy Sub a few times, and laughed a ton.
I absolutely LOVED having them here.
I think Callie's visit was timed perfectly with some issues I had going on with boys.
Heavenly Father KNEW I would need her here.
Her and my Mom have been such an amazing support.

Thank You Callie for such a wonderful visit!
You helped more than you know!
I can't wait till I get to snuggle that little girl in the summer!

Hunger Games!!!

I LOVE going to Midnight showings... I think they are a blast...
its a fun excuse to make some great memories!!!!
I went with Amanda and Tashina to go see Hunger Games and we had so much fun...
We waited in line for almost 4 hours before we were seated.
Then waited another 2 hours in the theater.
So we had a ton of time to take crazy pics.
(you don't even wanna know how many we took)
We laughed a ton... listened to music too loud...made new friends with people around us...
and got a little crazy. We had an amazing time!

The movie was fantastic.... I LOVED IT!!!! I can't wait to go again....

(Surprised I blogged? haha... me too... I am going to try better at getting back into blogging. I have had so much going on it was overwhelming thinking about blogging it all... so my friend Jessica suggested I just start fresh and maybe post old stuff later... but just start...we will see how it goes!)

Cruise: Part 3 Ensenada, Mexico

Ensenada, Mexico
Mexico was probably my favorite part. It was the first time I have ever been there.
I had so much fun!
all us girls on the tour bus to go to La Bufadora and the Flea Market
Rachel and I on the bus
Tashina and I
at La Bufadora...aka The Blowhole...
We definitely got wet!
It was really neat to see and so pretty!
Here I am with my Mexican fiance at the Flea Market.
He proposed. Mainly to get me into his store. It worked.
This was back on the ship with Mexico in the background.
I loved Mexico.
We walked around for hours, almost lost a couple girls, spent lots of money, and were proposed too. I got some delicious Churro's and bought a really pretty fire opal ring. We went and spent some time in Ensenada too exploring their Main Street! I even got some Thrifty Ice Cream... it was fantastic!!!! We got off the ship again at night to see the ship from the outside at night time all lit up. It was awesome.
